Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts maintained its position at the top of the U.K. and Ireland box office for the second consecutive weekend, earning £2.4 million and bringing its cumulative total to £11.7 million. Despite a 53% drop from its opening weekend, the film continues to perform robustly, trailing just behind Captain America: Brave New World, which had amassed £13.2 million at the same point in its release.

In second place, Warner Bros.' Sinners, directed by Ryan Coogler, added £1.1 million in its fourth weekend, pushing its total to £13.1 million. The period vampire thriller, featuring Michael B. Jordan, remains a strong contender, closely approaching the £14.3 million benchmark set by Creed III in 2023.

A Minecraft Movie secured the third spot, earning £621,814 in its sixth week. With a total of £54.9 million, it is poised to surpass The Super Mario Bros. Movie as the highest-grossing video game adaptation in the region.

Debuting in fourth place, Ocean With David Attenborough garnered £321,963 from 580 sites, achieving a total of £573,551 including its Thursday opening. The documentary's performance underscores the enduring appeal of nature documentaries in the U.K. and Ireland.

Rounding out the top five, The Accountant 2 brought in £227,269 in its third weekend, reaching a cumulative total of £2.3 million.

As the box office landscape evolves, upcoming releases like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Rise of Leo and Final Destination: Bloodlines are anticipated to introduce fresh competition in the coming weeks.
